AN OPEN LETTER from Yorba Linda City Councilwoman Janice Lim

I want to take a moment to thank the voters of Yorba Linda for electing me to the City Council. I am truly honored for your trust and I will not let you down. I am especially grateful for the support and efforts of my family and friends. During the campaign I openly acknowledged my history of service, and my heart to serve others. Now is the time to begin the work for which I was elected — the work of the people — especially fighting the state mandated housing plan, preserving our open space and parks and continuing to work closely with our Sheriff’s Department to keep our residents and businesses safe. I wish for all of you a wonderful holiday season and look forward to serving our great city Yorba Linda, the “Land of Gracious Living.”

MEET JANICE

Janice Lim has been a dedicated volunteer serving her community for almost two decades. As the youngest of five children, Janice put herself through college, working three jobs as well as earning academic scholarships for her education. Janice’s hard work paid off as she was the first person in USC’s history to graduate simultaneously with degrees from the Marshall School of Business and the School of Architecture. She put her dual degrees to work as a financial analyst working on large investment projects including Century Plaza Towers in Century City and Shea Homes Vista Del Verde in Yorba Linda. . . . <more>
