Janice Lim has been a dedicated volunteer serving her community for almost two decades.
As the youngest of five children, Janice put herself through college, working three jobs as well as earning academic scholarships for her education.
Janice’s hard work paid off as she was the first person in USC’s history to graduate simultaneously with degrees from the Marshall School of Business and the School of Architecture. She put her dual degrees to work as a financial analyst working on large investment projects including Century Plaza Towers in Century City and Shea Homes Vista Del Verde in Yorba Linda.
Janice and her husband Rick, an internal medicine physician, have been blessed with two children, Kristen and Eric who are both products of our local public schools. Kristen is now attending Baylor University and Eric is a high school junior in the Val Tech program at Valencia High School. Both have been raised with Janice and Rick’s model of service to their community. Eric, for example, is the newly elected President of his school’s Interact International service organization, a division of Rotary.
Janice has served others through her work with schools, city government programs, hospitals, and churches. Some of her service includes:
